METTA CARTER
SINGER, SONGWRITER, COMPOSER & PRODUCER
With an education as Classical musical student, and both singer and producer, Metta aims to create musical universes based in freedom of expression. As both live musician and solo performer she has played various concerts aswell nationally as Internationally.
In recent years she has performed at the Royal Art Academy, The Charlottenborg Castle and Tycho Brahe's Planetarium: Latest The National Museum and Rundetaarn in Copenhagen performing at the giant VIP event with various artists alongside her own band JAZZMOSPHERE - in honor of Nelson Mandela's family, with H.E. Ms. Ambassador Zindzi Mandela in front.
Metta is furthermore multi artist. Award winning Photographer, Illustrator, Graphic designer and musician. Latest she composed music to a documentary movie alongside composer Jørgen Lauritsen. "The last of the first" won Gold awards at California Film Festival 2019.
DEODATO SIQUIR & JEPPE SKOVBAKKE
DRUMS & CONTRABASS
DEODATO SIQUIR One of his country's greatest musical talents. A drummer and vocalist from Mozambique.Through his swinging compositions you will be taken on a musical journey around the world. Mozambican beats such as Marrabenta, Muthimba and Muganda are mixed with Island grooves and cool Scandinavian jazz, played expertly resulting in a vibrant and sophisticated sound. Add soft poetic singing in a mix of Tonga, Portuguese and English lyrics focusing on universal themes.
JEPPE SKOVBAKKE Over the years self-taught bassist Jeppe Skovbakke has been making a name for himself on the Danish music scene as a very personal and versatile performer with a love of all things music. He's equally at home performing or recording with local jazz greats, international soloists and bands from the Danish pop and rock scene and has toured the planet from Greenland to Brazil with artists such as I Got You On Tape, Mark Turner, John Tchicai, Steffen Brandt, Rhys Chatham a.m.o.
PELLE VON BÜLOW
GUITAR
PELLE VON BÜLOW is part of the younger Danish generation of musical jazz comets, with his progressive fingers deep into jazz - bringing new ideas to the genre. Pelle von Bülow is a guitarist and debutant in the "Jazz & Bobler" regi. Now playing with Metta Carter Jazzmosphere as solo guitarist.He inspiration is based on jazz guitarists such as Wes Montgomery and Pat Martino.
NILS RAAE
PIANO
Nils Raae plays piano / keyboard and chromatic mouth harp and is educated at The Royal. Danish Music Conservatory (AM line)
Nils has among other things written music for his own groups
and released several CDs in his own name - mostly in the jazz genre, but also
fusion, church music and the oriental genre.
CARTER STUDIOS
Carter Studios will soon present Video-Interviews of the studio Jazz Musicians. Deodato Siquir, Søren Lee and Nils Bosse Davidsen. Stay tuned.
LIVE RECORDING
A great and explosive night at Carter Studios. A live recording "one take" created the foundation for the coming album "Hostess" and intimate concert ft. jazzpianist Michael Sunding. Ark Studio, recorded the session, that was later pre-produced by Metta.

We originated from ANN DONG KIM CLAN in Korea. We Noah and Metta are the 26th and 27th generations of Ann Dong Blue Blood Clan. Heritage, an honoring of our deep seated roots is my inspiration.
